Title: Live-in caregiver

Salary: $10.25 Hourly for 35 hours per week

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English
Children’s Ages: School age (6 – 12 years), Over 12 years
Work Setting: Employer’s home
Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided
