There are virtually no jobs for immigrants in Canada, except for survival jobs.
The Canadian government, allied with business interests, is bringing too much immigrants to Canada in order to create a vast army of cheap unemployed/sub-employed workers.
The Canadian job market is not based on meritocracy but on”networking”, an euphemism for corruption. There are no objective knowledge tests in this country, only “resume evaluations”, the subjective backbone of the “network system”.

Case in point, why isn’t there a single graduate from the IITs or IIMs in India in this interview? Simply because either they’re working in one of Fortune 500 companies or they’re at Oxford, MIT, Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, UofT, UBC etc. Sorry, a PhD from some shabby building in the middle of nowhere is not equal to western educational expectations.

  3. 0synesthete0 says:

Bachelors, Masters and PhDs from some universities in developing countries are sold just like any other commodity. If someone can claim that they have 10 degrees and are still not able to speak a straight sentence of English, quite frankly, what do they expect? I am an undergrad student at UBC Vancouver (Times Higher Education, #34 in the world), and personally, its simply UNFAIR to equate such degrees to the amount of hard work that goes into an education from a top Canadian university.

@drsimi776 you say a lot of mean things about Canada. That means that Canadians will label you as a “bitch’ and a “loser.” I have been around Canadians a lot, and they seem pretty nice to my face.

This is Politics not the Canadian people we don’t agree with the Government here. We know they are phony hypocrits ourselves. The reason you get disrespected here by the Canadian people is because you blame the mess on us. This makes the whites angry for this reason It is like blaming the waitress that the cooks hair fell in your food. If she wasn’t being paid to serve you and we are not, then she would say what was on her mind when you disrespected her for what she has no control over.

  8. lucy9359 says:

This is not true of everyone and thus it is not a truth at all. I have wonderful friends from Africa. I have wonderful friends from First Nations. If you feel so bad about it go home. If I went to your country and didn’t feel satisfied then I would go home that would be my answer.

  9. lucy9359 says:

If he did not finish grade 12 this would give you a right to insult him and believe because you have a higher education you some how are better? The problem is the government and what they are doing not the people!

I want to know if you are praising Jesus Christ as a servant of the Lord? Unless Alah is your God then you don’t know any better but if you are an Evangilical Christian you ought to be ashamed of yourself to praise the Lord for the ruin of a people and a Nation. The bible says to be good to all especially to those who are of the house hold of faith. I think this excludes ethnic groups. Believers are from every nation and every tongue and every tribe. You want to praise God for the ruin of whites

  11. allrosario says:

The only reason whites came up with Canadian Experience is because they are afraid colored people will take their jobs and they would become dumpster divers collecting cans and bottles for a living. I have seen an increase to the number of whites diving into dumpsters and I praise the Lord for this. If whites keep exploiting natives and colored people the curse they are under will only become stronger. With God we shall do valiantly, it is he who will tread down Canadian Experience.

do you think it’s easy for everybody to get a job? some immigrants probably don’t have any trouble at all. it’s probably not easy for a canadian to find a big job like that either.
canada does not attract only the best and the brightest. that’s like saying we’re selfish jerks. and we’re not.

  13. Nienpet says:

I am a Caucasian male, English is my home language and moved to Canada from an English speaking commonwealth country. CANADA IS A NIGHTMARE FOR IMMIGRANTS! Irrespective of race. I got my Canadian qualification prior to moving, was employed prior to moving and was treated like crap on arrival. That’s not the system’s fault. It’s the Canadian people who are responsible for the horror stories you hear. Canadian experience? I could do your job in my sleep. Glad I got the hell out of that place!

My reply was to Superior Canada.
For your perusal many immigrants are way more talented and educated that local people. Just so you know that not everyone came into this country because their life was horrible in their home country. Many people came for certain freedoms or rights that Canada offers. You sound like the stereotypical low medium class canadian who did not even finished grade grade 12th.

  15. Pumpkin3276 says:

You are not just poorly mannered by brainwashed by the media as well.
It sounds that your experience and knowledge is very limited. Not all immigrants stories are a success or a failure. This land has very strong double standars and many issues that should be addressed.

  16. Yongyuanli says:

The country lets so many immigrants in not because of its generosity, but because it NEEDS people for many reasons, one being to increase or at least sustain its otherwise aging and possibly declining population. The language barrier argument has no ground because professional immigrants have to pass an interview conducted by a canadian immigration official for assessment of many things including language proficiency. Many countries actually do use English as their primary language in education.

  17. WhiteSuby says:

I am an immigrant too. Many of friends who are from the same place as me complaint about this country. The don’t socialize with locals nor try to adapt to their modes operandi. As a result, this country basically sux.

I say this is unfair. The country is generous enough to invite you to this land. If you don’t like it here, feel free to go else where.

Plus, as an immigrant, it is crucial to put more efforts than the locals because you need to earn your credits.

  18. WhiteSuby says:

Just because you have experiences and university degrees, it doesn’t mean you are DESERVED to find the jobs that you desire.

Moving into other countries requires extensive understanding of one’s cultures. If your language proficiency isn’t ready, then you are not ready to contribute in an office environment . Also, if your language isn’t ready, your cultural understanding isn’t probably up to par yet thus miscommunications and misunderstandings.

  19. superiorcanada says:

Don’t believe everything you see on T.V. Not everyone can be pleased. Of course not every single immigrant is going to get their dream job immediately when they come here, especially if they can’t speak the languages, which many can’t.

  20. noobkamal says:
