Salary: $13.80 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Restaurant

Supervisory Experience: Food and beverage servers, Kitchen and food service helpers

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Other Languages: Japanese

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information:Experience at Japanese restaurant and Japanese food knowledge are definite assets.
