    My first onsen experience: 8 years old from America…mid day…PUBLIC not family…could they have broke me in and warned me?! It just felt like a giant swimming pool with naked people…women only in our’s. Naked old women and my grandma…different for sure coming from conservative Texas. My husband is American…there is no way he will ever find onsen relaxing. He’ll say the water is atsui and won’t be able to get past all the naked people

    I heard you are not allowed/they won’t let you use onsen if you have a tattoo, is it true? Are there any exceptions? What if I go to a “private” room with my friends, is it okay if they don’t mind? I hope you (or somebody else) can answer! I would love to go to an onsen when I’m in japan! *.*

    ♨温泉にはとても感謝してます。in my childhood,i had an atopic dermatitis. でも、九州の湯布院（yuhuin）温泉に1週間ほど入ると、今までの症状がウソのようになくなったんです。
    ニキビにも効果があるので、ぜひとも、日本へ訪れた人には一度♨温泉へ行かれる事をオススメしますよ。(*´Д`)
    やっぱ、裸は恥ずかしいですよね(/ω＼)日本人ですけど僕も初めは抵抗ありました。

    福岡にお住まいのようですが、おとなり大分の別府が温泉地では有名ですね。東京には遊びには来ませんか？意外と東京も名湯揃いです。
